Cute tags and new SAB items

Some new Saleabration items have been added.  Anything there on your wish list?

Don't forget that it's an awesome time to join Stampin' Up!  In addition to products of your choice in the starter kit, you can choose 2 additional free stamp sets of your choice.  Offer ends 31/03.  Enjoy the demonstrator perks of at least 20% discount, being the first to see the new catalogues, a quarterly magazine, team get togethers and swaps.  Such fun!

Here's some more 'Lift Me Up' love.  Sweet little tags made with the 'Lift Me Up' bundle.  In addition I have used:
  • Scallop Tag Topper (wouldn't be without this!)
  • Washi Tape (Affecionately Yours)
  • 1/8" Stitched Ribbon in Bermuda Bay

Until next time.  Hope to see some of you at 'Coffee and Card' on Weds. Pop in between 10 and 11:30.  Garden Window Cafe, Stoke, Nelson.

Guest Gifts

Thank you to 'Pootles' for the tutorial on how to make these SUPER cute little milk cartons that my Extravaganza guests received as a thank you treat.

I have used:
  • Sending Love DSP (page 15 OCC: 6"x6" paper stack)
  • Mini Paper Clips (36 clips in gold, silver and white)
  • Circle Punch (3/4"- a really handy size)
  • Endless Thanks stamp set (sentiment)

These would also be awesome filled with tiny easter eggs, as Pootles shows in her video.

Have a great weekend all!

'Beautiful You' and Coffee and Cards

Last weekend was the Nelson Extravaganza.  At these events participants make five projects throughout the course of the day, each taught by a different demonstrator(s).

My project was a set of three notecards using the 'Beautiful You' stamp set.

It's easy to create beautiful backgrounds with Stampin' Up's Watercolour Pencils and an aquabrush!

The elegant lady was coloured with a watercolour pencil and overstamped in ink (both using the colour 'Pacific Point').

Lastly my fave of the three women...  Here we masked her, sponged around, created the splatters with the Gold 'Wink of Stella' and paper pieced used the lovely 'Falling in Love' DSP.

The set is bundled together with a Soft Sky belly band that has been embossed through the Big Shot using the 'Falling Petals' embossing folder.

Lastly I have a new event happening over the next three Wednesdays.....

Coffee and Card at The Garden Window Café

Have a cuppa and make a beautiful card. Beginners welcome

Weds March 15th, 22nd and 29th

Pop in between 10:00 and 11:30am

Two Cheeky Pukekos

Recently hubby and I attended a wedding in Castle Hill, Caterbury.  The invitation had 'two cheeky pukekos' on the front.  I wanted to continue this theme for the wedding card...not your typical wedding card!

So I started with a leftover kit from the project I taught at November's extravganza.  You can see this project here

With the exception of the 'pukekos' all of the products used are from Stampin' Up!

I thought that the Falling Petals Embossing Folder and the wood heart (Sending Love Embellishment) made it a little more 'wedding-y'.  The sweet sentiment inside the card comes from 'Floral Phrases'.

The 'Wetlands' set is a new one for me and I adore it already.  I used 'Garden Green' and 'Crumb Cake' ink and an aquapainter and sponge to create the swampy scene.  I used copper thread on the front and copper foil as a mat inside, which enhanced the card in my opionion.

Three sleeps till the Nelson Extravaganza.  It's not too late to book!  sally.robertson@email.com
