On Stage Challenge Entry

I am really looking forward to the April 'On Stage' event for demonstrators.  It will be fun to see new products and get inspired with fresh ideas.  Most of all I am looking forward to meeting the wonderful people in our team!  Yippee.

Today's post is a challenge entry to be a 'board stamper' for the event.  Wish me luck.

1.  Scrapbook Layout.  Photo credit to Steve Hussey.

2.  3D items.  The first being an embellished 'Tag a Bag Gift Box'.  I think my best creations are gifts for friends and family.

Botanical Blooms feature on the top and 'Timeless Textures' are stamped on the box sides.

Along with tea and chocolates I included a few crafty bits and pieces

The second 3D item is a mini book which will contain some of the hilarious things our middle son has said over the last couple of years.  He comes up with some corkers. I have left space for photos in the book as well.

I used this tutorial to construct the mini book:
The individual page designs etc are my original work.

Last but not least, three of my recent card creations.

There you have it folks.  Thanks for stopping by.  Many Blessings.  Sally xo

Honeycomb Happiness

See this chick with attitude?  He's in a Sale-a-bration set that can be yours with a purchase of $110 NZD.

I made this card for my sweet little friend who turned one last month.

The balloon is a honeycomb embellishment and the flowers and sentiment are from 'Sprinkles of Life'.

Have a wonderful weekend!  Sal.

{Heart} Numbers

I made this card for a special lady who turned 60 not so long ago.  I combined a SAB set 'What I Love' (flowers) with the Number of Years stamps and Dies.

The colour combo is Blackberry Bliss + Melon Mambo + Pear Pizazz
(The Flowers were inspired by a design by Leonie Schroder).

I really like using S U's Glimmer Paper with the number dies.  It adds that extra special factor I think.

"the number of years the world has been a better place because you're in it".  Lovely!  I used the Rotary Stamp for the small 60 (below).

Many Blessings! Sally.

Rose Garden Thinlets

The rose dies in the 'Rose Garden Thinlet' set are so simple and elegant that it doesn't take much to make a beautiful card or package.

For the first project here I used 'Gold Foil' on a 'Kraft Tag a Gift Bag', which has been embossed with the 'softly falling' EF.  The sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set 'Rose Wonder'.  The gift was for our neighbour who looked after our cat while we were away.

A few supplies can make a simple yet stunning card.  Rose die, doily and sequins.  Yum!

Have a lovely weekend.  We have an early start at cricket this morning and then I'll be getting my craft on with a bunch of ladies at a workshop this afternoon.  Sally :)

Sky is the Limit for a limited time

Our little two year old just LOVES planes.  They are his thing.  He was simply delighted to fly on a real, live plane last weekend.  We were counting the sleeps to go on the plane and no sooner had we arrived at out destination he was counting the sleeps to come home again LOL.  The wheels coming out were a definite highlight!

The 'Sky is the Limit' Sale-a-bration set is one of three items only available until the 15th Feb (available free with an order of $110 NZD).

In the first picture I have used a circle punch with vellum to make the propeller and coloured a pearl with an alcohol ink marker.

Sweet and simple, inspired by a design by 'Create with Connie and Mary'.  The clouds have a wink of stella.

Last but not least.  Soft sky and burlap.  Yum!

With so many fellas in my life, this set is a keeper.  Please contact me to order your set before Feb 15th.  Blessings.  Sally.

A pop of Calypso

Here's a thank you note card that I sent one of my valued customers with their last order.

I haven't owned the Softly Falling EF for long but I am using it heaps!

You can see that I've curled the petals of the Botanical flower.  I used my bone folder to do this.

Doesn't the 'Calypso Coral' pop against the Smoky Slate background?

To add shimmer to the 'Thanks' I gave it a 'Wink of Stella'.

Please see below for the Stampin' Up! supplies that I have used to create this card.  Have an awesome week.

Sally :)
